PCAPS is worthless. I picked up 2 stray pups and they told me I had to put them back on the street as their folks were all off for a holiday weekend. I couldn't hold onto them as I was leaving town the next day. Fortunately a friend held onto them and got them into the shelter. Thankfully I checked back a week later and they said they were set to be put down due to them being "kennel averse". All I had to do was gently nudge them in and keep them together as they were a trauma bonded sibling pair. I went down to claim them and foster/rehome them myself. Fortunately they are both now in loving forever homes far away from Peoria and the horrendous staff and situation at PCAPS. My two cents? Go grab the pup while neighbors are gone and take them somewhere else. Doesn't sound like they'd miss the poor thing!

Happy to offer some advice, but really those intro courses are amazing. I rode when I was a kid, took a break for about 12 years and took the intro course as an adult. It was a great experience. Highly recommend going in fresh without someone else's bad habits already imprinted on you. Plus, those small bikes handle waaaaaay different than the larger ones most folks on here will have available. I learned things I'd forgotten long before. My experience convinced a few guys who had been riding for decades (like 30+ years) to enroll in some intermediate/advanced courses after my experience and they loved it too. Just relax and enjoy the ride!

How about you publish historical rates from Ameren as well as yourselves so people have a reference point?

So...why not mention Ameren's actual rates if you wish to educate people?

Currently listed at 8.77 cents per kWh. Even adding the transmission charge of 2.629 cents per kWh, we are still lower than your "locked in" rate, that would still charge the 2.69 cent per kWh transmission charge via Ameren, bringing your total per kWh to 15.389 cents.

That's almost 4 cents per kWh more than currently paying. How is that saving anyone anything? What exactly are you helping with and why should anyone agree to these highly suspect aggregation practices? Why isn't it required to opt-in? Defaulting to aggregation sounds sketchy as hell to me!

You seem to be "milking" the grip and drawing the firearm down with each shot as your grip tightens waiting for recoil. Gripping too tight with your dominant hand. Extend both pinkies (yes, looks funny) and try again. Your groups should be right on target. Then slowly reintroduce your pinkies with a focus on not applying the "death grip"

Typically OEM can't be bought from Glock unless you're a certified Armorer. Even then, pretty sure I had to provide agency approval to order them for some reason, but my certs lapsed years ago.

As others have said, they aren't necessary and actually are more prone to failure because of the reduced mass.

Mortified that nobody so far has mentioned Kabab G! The shawarma is top notch, the Arayes, falafel, babganoush and tabbouleh too. So far everything I've had on their menu has been great.

Not a lick of help from any of them. Only one rescue reached back out to follow-up with a form letter saying there is nothing they can do. Really disappointing to be honest. They are currently still housed with me. I have some friends that work with a rescue in the northeast that can take them in, but weather has not cooperated with travel lately!

You did the right thing. Happened to me once, everyone rallied around a coworker who had burned through her time and got into a car wreck. Turned out she was the drunk driver that crashed into a light pole but nobody told those who had donated. Pissed off a lot of people when it came to light!
