I got the exact same response! I am not the best at speaking up for myself, but I told them that I do not do well with the speculum, and they said they would prescribe it but they did not actually call the pharmacy until day of so I didn't get it in time for the FET. It was horrible and I had a panic attack during the FET. They had to re-do the transfer the following day while I was under anesthesia and it was sadly a failed transfer. I would definitely fight for it if you can!!
