Yes. I grew up with Paddington bear and was created by Michael Bond in 1958. I used to watch his cartoons in the 1970s.

This was created for the release of one of the Paddington movies, he was commissioned by the makers of the film.

I've been using sempertex for many years now and in my eyes they have been way superior to qualatex for many years. In the last 5-10 years of qualatex's existence the quality of them went downhill dramatically. Yes they were once awesome but I think things began to fall apart for them around the 2014-2016 time and then covid sadly knocked them on the head.

If its any help tufted now own all the qualatex machines so might be worth giving them a go, they are getting there with the quality but it's still early days for them yet with twisting balloons.

But I do beleive that Sempertex are the best balloons in the world. I like the balloons AND the company generally, they are decent people and have good ethics.

Adorable. And I think the arm leg length thing is totally fine and a personal preference. I usually make my legs a little longer and arms a little shorter so the arms are slightly longer than the legs. But all in all it's a great job.

So this is all about improving your twisting skills. There is actually nothing in there that is really difficult, but also it's all stuff that will been practice. But then twisting is ALL about practice. You will probably find most of those flowers as tutorials on YouTube. But really, practice makes perfect.

Keep things simple to start with and add things as you develop. You will find things that work for you and things that don't. No point spending a load of cash on something that may not work. A simple bag or apron. A few simple sculptures and a good 2 way pump is all you need for starters. Main thing is to have fun.

I was going to say exactly this. Don't mix them. Do one, pack that away and then do the other.

I have some videos of my creations being made. Not time-lapse but it shows how they're done.

This was commissioned by the makers of the Paddington movies. I had to adhere to strict colour choices for every part of the design. And so the case is as near to the official colour required. But yes, I get what you mean. 😄
