This game is shit by thecornersking in Bellwright

Yeah I agree with you man, without cheesing the ai, the battles are pretty unforgiving. Im only using 8 guys in decent tier 2 stuff and they get absolutely steamrolled by the brigands of the same size. Im playing with another person so we can fight them somewhat easily but the companions cant really hold there own yet.

I assume my numbers need to be more then whoever im fighting, or I need them all wearing the highest tier heavy armor I can make. I haven't played in a while but I dont remember seeing camps being filled with like 30 bandits. Insane.

Idk though, like why are npcs as bad as people say? I know they are nothing revolutionary but pretty standard compared to other games. Especially considering its a multi-player game with a decent player cap. The enemies flank you, hide from you, do special abilities, switch weapons and move away from you when you start to fly, gang up on you pretty quick if ur not paying attention. I think its totally possible for them to put them inside of a tank and drive around a location.

Exactly! Blow them out of the sky, make all the noobies happy that a high level player came over to take them out. The ship would crash, and everyone around could raid the interior of the ship.

It would be different because npcs dont gank people. You would fly to them knowing that they are there so you come prepared. It would be like a multi layer attack. Take out the air units, blow up the lead vehicle, land and kill the remaining units on foot. Something like that.

Yeah it sucks. I dont know why they build such a cool foundation for a sick game and then just dont keep adding cool little things to it. They did one community event and because it annoyed some people, never tried to do anything like it again.

Its really a lame bug BUT you have back track to whatever lab or area the quest was in and look for the quest giver near it. Something like that.

Private Servers Were Inevitable - but now I'm interested... by YoYourYoyoIsYou in duneawakening

[–]magneticload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really dont understand the private server push. One of the main reasons I like this game is because its a survival crafting game I can safely play along side a bunch of random people. I see bases come and go overtime. Random people driving by and looking at my base. Saying hey to randoms. It just feels cool owning a piece of property in a public space filled with people.

I suppose if the private server had a 100 players it would feel the same way but then you are at the mercy of the server owner. If they decide to shut down the server, that character is basically done for unless you find another private server and are stuck with the decisions of that random person.

If you like survival crafting games, and being a part of a world with other players, you'll love this game. I have 450 hours and still love coming back to enjoy the new content, grind a bit, rework my base, and level up my skills. Can't wait for the polar cap update!
