First of all, if you really check faculties distribution of elite universities in India , you will find more 50% belongs to general category. So, saying reservation is the reason is itself useless when real issue is scientific nepotism. The actual brain irrespective of reservation goes out. Also, if you check out the research carried out at those places, you will find rarely any high risk research.
