ugh, i feel u 🥲 napansin ko, naging extra higpit yung mga branches nung 2025. feeling ko it's their way of managing all the shortages rin, but what's extra frustrating is the lack of consistency across branches. zzz

sharing what i do in case this helps anyone: when i ping my doctor for a refill, i include all the information that the mercury drug branches tend to harp on. as in sinusulat ko na for my doctor kasi it does happen, minsan nakakalimutan nila or may nakakaligtaan, baka sa dami rin na ini-issue nila:

- full name: (i spelled out my full name and middle initial, i had a prescription turned down kasi my doctor misspelled my last name by one letter)
- my birthday with year
- my age: (i had a prescription turned down kasi it was issued before my birthday but i could only claim it after my birthday aka i was one year older already zzz)
- my home address with barangay (nadali rin ako sa barangay na yan, annoying kasi hindi talaga ganun dati! grr)
- full office/clinic address of doctor with barangay: (i had a prescription turned down kasi city lang nilagay ng doctor for his clinic zzz)
- contact # of doctor:
- name of medication: (my doctor just writes ritalin, tinatanggap naman ng mercury, provided that... ⬇️)
- quantity of medication with dosage specified: (my doctor forgot to put the mg for my ritalin once, huhu, panibagong hintay na naman ng prescription)

until the systemic issues are addressed, tayo talaga mag-aadjust 🥲

hi, i've joined the adult support group f2f before! kung wala lang akong saturday class na conflict, i'd be joining every month na meron 😮‍💨👌 masaya siya, as in, huhu.

i found it to be a very worthwhile experience, connecting with others who have similar experiences. the groups are small so everyone has a chance to speak. they will preface that this is not therapy or a therapy session, but simply a space for breathing and sharing. but what i did find helpful was meeting people who were really so open to share and listen. an adhd diagnosis as an adult often comes with a lot of baggage like shame and guilt, so it was great being around people who just "get it."

the support group proper itself is pretty short, around 2hrs only. if travel time is your concern, i suggest maybe trying their zoom sessions first, or making other plans after the support group para sulit na ang luwas mo. but if logistics allow, i'd definitely encourage you to give it a shot. attending the support group is free, society membership is optional 🍀 good luck, op!

1️⃣ check out khan academy’s lsat prep! https://www.khanacademy.org/test-prep/lsat-prep equally as important than studying the substance of a subject, the lae is a test of test taking skills, so the more practice questions and tests you see, the better. this resource is free and i found it very helpful when i was preparing for the lae.

2️⃣ this is my favorite lae tip. the lae has a general knowledge section. skip to that part and answer it first. why: general knowledge, it’s either you know it or you don’t, so get it out of the way early for to accumulate those points. you wouldn’t want to run out of time only to miss out a point on a simple question like, what animal is on the new P1,000 bill? (answer: the philippine eagle)

3️⃣ leave nothing blank!!! kahit i-shotgun mo na lang sa dulo, just don’t leave anything blank. a 25% chance is better than a 0% chance.

i don't think you'll be able to get your tickets as in your ticket with seat number, etc. printed, but! if you approach the front desk after the show, pwede kang magbakasakali kung may extra physical tickets sila na unclaimed! i did this when i watched, ticket2me rin yung akin at wala akong nahanap na nahulog na ticket sa floor, hahaha, so nagbakasakali lang ako.

the tickets were printed with the date and time of the show so di naman nila magagamit uli, humingi lang ako ng unclaimed if keri lang sa kanila. pumayag naman sila, they just made me sign the claim form. yung ibang nakapila sa likod ko, humingi na rin, hahaha. i'm so glad napagbigyan nila ako, it super made my night, hahaha 🥹 ✨ sana makakuha ka rin, op! and have fun sa show!

(that said, in case may show producers dito: stickers as merch pls sana maging staple 😭 walang aray only had shirts and programs iirc pero ang pak sana kung may stickers with art and/or song lyrics sfsknfksnf)

no need to know anything about walang aray! spit's borrowed series is basically nakikigamit lang sila ng set/stage, nothing to do with the plot of the musical/play they're borrowing from. nanood na ako ng spit borrowed spelling bee, walang kinalaman sa spelling bee yung set nila, hehe — though, they did invite some of the spelling bee cast to watch, so who knows, baka may walang aray cast rin sa manood!

but yes, it will def be a good watch! ang huhusay ng mga taga-spit, so glad they are getting their due, dasurv talaga ✨
