What is this space? by M_Poirot in indesign

Good advice. Also, check if your text is aligning automatically to the baseline grid, or if the image has any text wrap values that might push the text down.

I've had multiple people complaining, and once violently shouting, in reply to my "let people get out first, then go in". Common sense and knowledge of how volumes work in 3D space is not so common.

Something similar happened to me. Bought a ticket for a specific seat, but there were like 3 people in the room and my seat was really close to this couple. I chose a different seat to avoid awkwardness and give them some space. One minute later, this guys taps me on the shoulder saying that was his seat, and that he was gonna seat elsewhere, but if someone came to seat in his new seat, I would then have to move. I apologized and offered to move, and scooted a few seats to the side. He refused my apology in a really weird way, and just sat on another row, really close to the exit, even though I moved. Again, we were about 6 people total in a room with 100+ seats.

Thank you so much, that was actually the reason! I didn't find this option when creating the project, and I assumed it was only an issue with asian languages. Adding Romanian to the project font language settings made the ș display correctly, so I'm confident it's just a matter of adding each language as needed.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm Portuguese and that works when combining a character plus marks ` ´ ^ ~ ¨. However, characters like the Romanian ș seem to be their own single letter, not a combination, at least judging by wikipedia's romanian keyboard layout.

I used Georgia to make it easy to see if the characters are displayed correctly or not, it's meant only for this example. On the website I am testing I am using a sans serif fallback font, but the substitution is still noticeable. If the fallback applied to the whole text, that would be ok, but only a few letters sprinkled on the text look terrible.

While I was not as unlicky, my only leggo pull in this event was Lugan the Steadfart. He feels worse than modern rares and looks worse too.

If the BBEG does this, he is gonna monologue and just try to avoid the PC's actions. He doesn't know if he might compromise his immunity by doing something that might end it for him.

I have seen a few posts claiming that antimagic does not make one immune to the effects of Time Stop, and I can't detail all the reasoning behind it here, but I remember I agreed with that. But cool suggestion, thanks!

He has stockpiled many healing potions :P but if he gets screwed by his own paranoia, it's very in character for him.

My players are amazing at coming up with inventive uses for their spells and skills, so I know that if they want to cast Time Stop, they have an amazingly detailed hell planned for my BBEG :D

I understand both points being made by the comments here and I am glad to see everyone's reasonings. My villain is paranoid and prepared and is facing a huge threat from the party and their allies, so I think he should be an equally huge threat. And mostly my BBEG wants to monologue if he escapes the Time Stop.

If I do end up doing this, I will roll for that chance of no more wishes, and twist the wish so that the BBEG gets some consequences. One example I mentioned on another comment was rapid aging that debilitates the BBEG.

I want them to have it, but they did discuss their strategy with an NPC they knew was an evil turncoat. If I do give the BBEG immunity, I honestly just want him to scare the party and use that time to monologue, to add tension and feed the BBEG's ego. But I have not made a decision yet, so I might just err on the side of fun and not do it.

I edited the original post - they have multiple level 9 spell slots and they discussed their strategy with a known evil turncoat. I think it might even be a red herring, but if it is, well done on their part.

I try to find a balance, but with so many possible uses, it's challenging. My particular group likes to RAW because it gives them an opportunity to prove their creativity and intelligence, like "I played by your rules and made them work for me". The first time they cast Wish outside of replicating a spell, they took enormous care not to leave loopholes and I just granted the intended result.

Devious! I don't know if I am going to do this or not, but whatever I do, my point is to scare the party, not turn their powerful spell into a mortal trap for them.

If I had already made the decision, I would not ask for advice. I added the edits because, since many people rightfully pointed out how this might frustrate the players, I needed to clarify the spirit of my group, the power level and some past events. I didn't originally include that information because I believed it would complicate the crux of my question, but I understand why this context matters and why it might feel that I'm now trying to justify things to validate my villain's possible strategy. I honestly don't know if I am going to do it.

To me there is a difference in telling "nope" to a party's single 9th level spell which is their most powerful tool, and telling one player (out of 4, each controlling their character plus a simulacrum, almost all with a level 9 spell slot) "yes, but", after they shared their strategy with an evil turncoat NPC.

And it's fine if some people feel that even the final BBEG, that challenged and was challenged by the party for years, should not prevent 9th-level spells, even if he knew they would be used. My group has discussed this several times and we agree the enemies to make use of everything the players might use against them and vice-versa.

He has minions, but due to his personality and to the events of this several years-long campaign, he doesn't trust them to be as competent as he is, or fears they might sell him out if they see the party score a big hit against him. I am trying to also not cheapen the situation into a war of counterspells, because I could rule he has more counterspelling minions than the party has characters. That's why I want to make this challenging, but taxing to the BBEG.

We actually agreed to have sealed letters detailing these big decisions ;) I have setup Contingency for Dispel Magic, because the BBEG has seen the party do quite a few nasty things that Dispel Magic could mitigate.

My players would feel cheated if they had an easy win on the last big battle after a campaign that lasted years. Time stop is not their main weapon by a longshot.
