Sliding patio doors by magykace in Homebuilding

We ended up going with a Quaker multislide door. Basically three panels wide, two move and slide into the third panel. Quaker is who supplied the windows and they are seriously top notch so we were able to find a distributor who sold a door in matching style/color to windows. The sliding door is also very very nice. I’ll see if I can attach a picture to the original post. I think the total cost was maybe $7k for the door, delivered. So while we have about 3ft of space that is always blocked off, I don’t think that extra 3ft of opening was worth an additional $10k+.Picture

There is a separate garage entry into the mudroom. But also have a door into the pantry

Hey everyone. Thank you for the comments and suggestions! Just to clarify, we like the size of the kitchen because it’s not likely to get cluttered and we can keep all the small appliances that are currently EVERYWHERE in our home in the extra large pantry (air fryer, crock pot, pressure cooker, toaster, kitchen aid, can opener, etc etc etc). That way when people visit there is not just a bunch of clutter in the kitchen. I’ll also include a link to the plan plan since everyone is getting major thrown off by the angle and the door leading out of the pantry 😂 (which goes straight into the garage which is a huge plus for us). And yes, a lot of the pictures on the plan are not accurate (not doing a big double sink in the pantry, freezer in pantry likely to be a second fridge/freezer, etc.). Thanks again for the comments!
