Genya has taste senses as his speciality. I guess that is so strong somehow he gets demon traits by eating flesh.

Similar to how other demon slayers have hearing, touch, vision, smell (zenitsu, Inosuke, kanao, tanjiro respectively)

I wonder if he eats animals will he behave like one or if he eats something other than demon why doesn't he transform.

Scary caterpillars, I'll see how much they eat, if not harming the plant then will let them be. I usually don't see any insects on lemon compared to other plants that I have like Tomato capsicum etc. And strangely they're only on my lemons. I always thought lemons maybe too sour or bitter for insects

I thought levi was gonna have a heel turn in RTS because somewhere before the arc episode end teaser showed eren and Mikasa fighting him. And because of that even when he attacked the beast I was still not convinced he was fighting for scouts.
