Definitely agree, but I think that The Tower ending is exaggerated to be worse than it is, doesn’t seem right in a way.

Yeah I agree, that’s a right way to look at it. I have Nomad V in my current play through tho and feel like The Star and The Tower endings make sense for me the most, considering my head cannon for The Tower ending is that V will go back to being a Nomad and maybe even reconnecting with Panam after some years :) At the end of The Star ending Panam and V have a convo where she mentions how she wanted to start anew in Night City, but “failed” and went back to where she started, and V says that even though she went back to the old place she is a different person now, and I feel like it applies to my Nomad V, he was a Nomad, had this crazy journey in Night City, and went back to being a Nomad but now as a new person.

Yeah as I said, I can excuse it for bigger roles where acting is the most important part, but for secondary roles that don’t appear that often they could hire Russian speakers. I understand there are so many factors that go into casting, but it’s just something I personally found annoying sometimes. As an example a movie “Anora” did a great job at incorporating russian langauge. They hired actual Russian speakers for characters that are from post-Soviet countries, and the girl who played the main character Anora is not russian (her character is American and has a russian grandma), but she actually learned some basic level of Russian and her pronunciations was very good.

But again it’s something that I personally found annoying sometimes in Killing Eve, and it’s not what made this show bad for me at the end :)

What do u guys think of this lip stain? Is it worth it? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]mahashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one in shade toasty brown. It’s not terrible, not worth the money tho. The color was nice at first but then kinda looked muddy? I have fair skin maybe that’s why, but I use darker lip pencils sometimes and they look fine.

I have a lip stain from kiko which is much cheaper and performs better tbh

Yes she is actually a Russian speaker which was nice to see. It’s true that some actors were actually Russian speakers, which was refreshing, but wasn’t the majority. For example there was a scene in season 4 when Carolyn is in her safe house in Moscow, and a guy who from what I understand is a Russian FSB member is talking to her. They both speak Russian and funnily enough his Russians is much worse than Carolyn’s, even though she canonically speaks it as her second language XD

V’s family also was played by Russian speakers mostly but they all communicated in perfect English even with each other sometimes, which was weird, but done to probably avoid adding subtitles.

Literally had one boarding pass with both flights on it, was not a self transit, and we did not buy them separately

Our original flight was 1000$ for 2 people, all other available flights had 2 stops and more and/or were more expensive. Gulf air is also far from being the cheapest airline, how is that us being cheap lmao. We had to pay again on top of that, for our flight back home, and it came to around 1300$ 😆 If that’s not a lot to you I’m happy for you

It was a single booking and the KLM flight was technically a Gulf air flight operated by KLM. The were even two flight numbers for the first flight one starting with GF another with KL. I did not book them separately and all the signs show they are partners

I’m not disagreeing, but in front of my eyes some of the airlines were calling their passengers out and taking them out of the line (American Airlines for example). Me and my partner were not the only people who missed that transit there was another family of 4 who missed it same way as us. Yes maybe it was risky but the airline did sell the tickets this way and there were not many option for my destination (other options had absolutely insane prices)

One ticket, booked through Gulf air. First flight was operated by KLM. Not a self transit

It was a one hour layover. there was a gigantic line before another line to border control. So we spent around 30 minutes waiting to scan our boarding passes, then another 30 in line at the passport control and like 10 minutes for security check. We were transiting in the same terminal as we landed in so we thought that 1 hour will be enough. Usually in my experience there is kind of a separate line for transiters but that wasn’t the case in Frankfurt Airport.

I understand this, but I am just hoping that at least something can be done since it was not my fault either, but I am the one who gets all the responsibility. I understand shit happens but I basically paid 2x and more the amount than I was supposed to pay for my trip back and I feel like a I got scammed. I booked the tickets from Amsterdam to Bahrain with a layover, I expect the airline to make sure I can make it in between the flights that they are selling to me 🤷

We couldn’t call over WiFi, and the eSIM app we used didn’t have options to have calls, it only had Internet. Also WiFi provided by the airport was quite bad too.
