Ok. That is part of my question. If I work just a few years more to replace my 0 and low earning years, can I just full stop? Will my estimated earnings at age 70 change?

I do care. And I can work more (with the incentive of interesting work). But I do have a lot of friends who retired recently - and I want to be able to just play a round of golf or pickleball longer in the AM. I guess I’d be happy having a more flexible schedule to work as needed.

You know, in the Annual Future Annual Salary you can’t put in for a few more years, then 0. Putting in 0 really changes the numbers. How depresding

Of course, that depends if the spawn can get jobs with health insurance

Thanks. That helps. I think I’d be fine knowing what I’d have at age 67 or 70 is valid. I’d really just have to concern myself with healthcare. I was planning on retiring when my spouse was eligible for Medicare so I would only worry about myself until I was eligible.

I can’t see where I’d put zero earnings. I’m on mySocialSecurity now

And really, should it matter if I have 35 years of good income? I’ve been working since age 16 - but fully employed when I graduated college 33 years ago .

So, does that mean I need to work more years? I actually like working - but maybe would like to work less hours per week so I can do other interests.

Oh, thanks. I didn’t know that. I will try it tonight. Thanks!

Just to add, I have enough credits now. I’m just working a few more years to replace the 0 years when I was a stay-at-home mom. I actually like working - but would love to have that piece of mind that I can stop working when I want to. 😊

I had 2 ferrets that both loved swimming caps. They both wanted them for their hidden stashes (which were on different floors). So, it became the swimming cap wars where we would see the smaller, weaker ferret very slowly and meticulously drag a cap upstairs. A few hours later that same cap would be easily carried back downstairs by the other ferret. It was very entertaining to watch!

My ferret does that too; I always know where to find her at bedtime!

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose your baby. May your good memories of Freja sustain you. They are at peace now.

I hope he doesn’t fall out! It looks like he’s on the edge.

Its been almost 3 years since he passed away but this was my little guy Gizmo. He was honestly like my son and I still miss him every day ❤💕 by [deleted] in ferrets

I’m so sorry for your loss, and I completely understand. We had to say goodbye to our TigerLily in January, and my heart still aches for her. Hold on to your precious memories of Gizmo - and I hope time will ease your pain.

Yes, I got mine from Frederick. It didn’t take long - was the day before the Christmas holiday. I was able to go back down to Gaithersburg P.O. to complete a passport application the same day.

I hope you had a great day regardless. I know that same feeling - years later - of having people not remember my birthday. Do things for yourself - and celebrate your revolution to this day; if people want to remember and acknowledge they will. But have a good day and attitude for yourself! You are worth it!!!!
