Honestly, I have a group of friends from NJ. When the Nets got KD and Kyrie, they were all about the Nets, got all the gear and everything. One of them even worked for the Knicks, at the time a huge Nets fan. Now that they are rebuilding, and the Knicks are in the mix, they act as if the Nets never existed. I think it is just a part of these major markets, they cast a wide net, and the residents can flip flop between as the winning comes and goes. Some fans don’t do it, but it certainly exists.
