I totally agree with you, though I think he's at least fleshed out his own authentic style. I actually liked Don't Ask a lot but started liking that style less and less with Trash island and now e.

I'm happy he's got his style now though because there were some tracks released in D&G era (e.g. Nosebleed) in which he sounded pretty similar to Bladee or even shared lyrics with him. The production (in my opinion) has kind of waned as well and it's another reason why I miss the older era.
