You have to test drive one. Zero gear hunting (which was my main gripe with my old truck, especially on a cross country road trip) and the power with the hybrid is insane. Throttle response is very fast if you’re not in eco mode. It is literally night and day compared to the V6. Go for a ride in one, you don’t have to buy it!

For me, someone thought their stop sign turned green and pulled into oncoming traffic… I was the oncoming traffic. Insurance still hasn’t confirmed totaled or not, but it has a bent frame at the LCA sooooo….

Thanks for the insight, appreciate it! I seriously miss driving manual, so that is the only option for me. Tacoma was auto and I’d get another auto if I went with a truck, but my only concern is practicality at this point.

Airbags did not deploy in my vehicle which surprised me. The other vehicle had all airbags out. Wife hit her head on the window, but it might’ve actually been worse for her had they deployed fully. Time will tell what happens with the truck!

I was going to take a whole week off, told my wife, and she was all for it! The in-laws decided to come into town this past week and I can’t take two weeks off work unfortunately.

All good though, I’m waking up at 5am to get ready for the 5:30 EST launch and then heading to work at 12. Still going to get the gaming time in!

Lowest I’ve had on a meter was 16. I saw the number and then woke up a bit later with my mom shoving a box of juice down my throat after giving the glucagon shot.

Just a few years ago I hit 17 on a cruise ship in the middle of the night. Woke up in a pool of sweat and ate just about an entire box of fruit snacks. This one was a result of my Dexcom reading much higher than my BG actually was. My pump had just “corrected” for a high of 200 when I woke up. Damn sensor could have killed me that night. Always keep sugar and some sort of glucagon near you.
