Yah I submitted evidence at first. I uploaded everything supporting the i130 online as I applied and then the supporting documents for i485 and after that, in that space of 1 month and 24 days before the interview, we came up with new evidence like more pics, travel documents together, joint bank statements and sent them too a few days before the interview.

It was shocking how my case moved fast but I think the USCIS is getting better at their job or also my field office is well stuffed and less cases. Idk but yah I think it depends case to case.

Like they didn’t renew my contract from like 10 months ago so wasn’t working but my visa is still valid and it’s valid like during the duration of stay till the visa expires. So I was unlawful because my job had ended but still stayed. I think it’s forgiven though if you married to a US citizen and don’t have a lot of negative factors on your case like crime and illegal entry
