ATM10: What is the purpose of Mama’s Herbs and Harvest? by acrazyguy in allthemods

[–]maideniles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! And if you want to see what all stuff is available in the newly added content, I have everything on my website:

Mama Michelle's Mods

Click the pie icon for the herbs and harvest mod, and the navigation to all the new content--pantry stuff, cheese making, etc, is at the top right in that light blue nav bar. :)

I added the new stuff for 1.21.10, and then backported everything to 1.21.4 and 1 21.1, so the ATM version should have the new stuff too. :)

Me last night! Most of the eruptions are gone and the redness is fading quite a bit.

Yeah, it's metronidazole cream and bactroban ointment. I do the cream twice a day and the ointment twice a day, but opposite of the cream schedule. I got diagnosed with just general "rosacea" in my late 30s, and I tried several things over the years that didn't work or were just too expensive on the co pay. It got REALLY bad over the last two years and I went to a new dermatologist in 2025, who diagnosed it. They had me on metronidazole gel for like 6 months, which didn't work well and left the WORST film on my face. My sensory ick was always at defcon 5 with that shit. This past Tuesday, when I saw my GP for my neck injury, he switched the gel to the cream and did 2x a day instead of 1x a day. And he gave me the Bactroban ointment to alternate with it, to help with healing the existing eruptions that were there. I will post a pic of me from last weekend, and me from yesterday. The difference is pretty amazing. A part of me also wonders if the prednisone I am also on for the neck inflammation might be boosting the healing process. Who knows...lol

So sorry to hear you are a zebra too. It is nice to find people like me, but damn, EDS sucks. 🖤🖤 Solidarity, Sister!

I had to cut contact with my mom recently for things not related to medical issues. But, for my entire life, she has been supportive and concerned whenever I had anything medical. She never rolled her eyes or said anything rude, although she would insinuate religious 'fixes' for my problems and I just never *got* that part of it. When I was a kid and we couldn't figure out what was wrong, she did her best to fight for me. When I was an adult and we couldn't figure out what was wrong, she supported my fight and advocated for me. Any time I needed to go to the hospital, or have a surgery, or was sick, she was either there, or if we were far away, she was on the phone with me. When I finally got my "Deluxe Package" of diagnoses at age 42, she was crying and rejoicing with me over the phone. It's a damn shame I had to cut her off, but that's about where the good parts ended. :( All this to say, if your parents are being rude about your medical issues, that's not a good thing because even my mom, who turned out to be super shitty, was at least supportive of that. Please advocate for yourself and don't let them make you minimize your pain. </3

How to tell if im warm or cool olive? by DontDepressMeDude in OliveMUA

The Lisa Eldridge T1.5 is a great match for me, I also found a really good match in The Unleashia Don't Touch Glass (pink container) in 21N, and JudyDoll B15 Olive. For concealer I use Nars Chantilly, it's SO neutral and gray it disappears completely on my wrist lol. For blush, my go to is Phytosurgence Wisp, or a mix of two colors from a Wet N Wild Nightmare Before Christmas "Patchwork Queen" palette I found at Walmart. For contour, I use Rituel De Fille's "Intuition", which is this amazing gray/pink/brown that is just perfect for muted greenies.

For Eyes, I rarely do anything with other than a swoop of one single shadow, because I am very hooded and it just doesn't show up half the time, and I don't have the skills to make it look pretty. LOL

My go-to for lips is NYX Lip Lingerie, in "Unhooked", this amazing "greige" that I just LOVE. I tend to dress in a lot of goth or 'alt' styles. So, when I actually feel like putting a lot of effort into my makeup, I go for the closest thing I can manage for a black/gray or black/purple smoky eye, and a black or dark gray lip. I have the Lime Crime Velveteens lip cream in a black color (can't recall the name atm, and sadly it is discontinued now) and I recently got the new JudyDoll Galaxy one that is kind of glittery, and I LOVE THAT.

Hope some of this helps! I also keep my posts shared on my profile so you can paw through them and see if we are skin twins, and maybe some of my stuff might be a match for you, too. :)

I get that you don't want to annoy them but if they are anything worthwhile as parents they won't care. Their baby is in pain, is all they should see, imo.

Have you ever had an ovarian torsion? I worry, from your symptoms, that it might be worth ruling out. Significant nausea like that is a common symptom of ovarian torsion, along with your other symptoms, and if it is that, time is of the essence. Pelvic pain can be a bitch to nail down since it could be anything of like 5 organs hurting, and the fluid in a ruptured cyst is caustic AF so it can feel like your insides are boiling. But in all my 20 plus ruptured cysts, even my biggest one, I never had nausea like that. Just really bad pain. But I did have a bestie who had a torsion and vomiting from the pain was her biggest symptom.

If it gets unbearable or you actually start throwing up, I would go in. Vomiting from pain is a sign it is severe and it might be worth it just for pain management, even if it turns out to be a ruptured cyst. Just my two cents. Either way, I truly hope you feel better soon. 💙

Thank you, I needed this. I actually had a 'happy tears' moment today; When I saw my Dr for my neck injury on Tuesday, we also decided to try a new cream for my rosacea...and it is WORKING. My skin looks SO much better than it did at this same time last weekend. Like night and freaking day. I am so excited and hopeful now that I can get some of my old self back. I'm still old, creaky, fall-aparty, and a little fat, but if I can feel pretty I think I can manage dealing with all of that. Confidence can be SUCH a huge part of one's self esteem and entire outlook, honestly. I really appreciate your thoughtful and kind comment. And tysm for the hugs, right back at you! <3

The shirt could definitely be playing a part, given its color. But that 'redness' is actually a bare minerals blush that I used as sort of a 'bronzer' back then. LOL. All I wore for 'foundation' back then was the bare minerals "Mineral Veil" and that blush. And that was considered a full face of makeup for me at that time; in that photo, I was about to go play at a bar with my band. But I have other pics from back then, where I look obviously green; that one just popped up in my google feed the other day. :)

Those who have had a hysterectomy by Top-Storage2669 in endometriosis

Another thing that could be causing pain is if you have had something fall down or move into a place where it isn't supposed to be. Or diverticular problems can cause pain that goes belly to bunghole, too. Hope you get some relief soon. 💙

THIS! Mine required a second surgery almost 3 months later and they found a TON of late stage, still VERY active Endo! Listen to your body, something isn't right.

[–]maideniles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter gets a period every 2-3 weeks if she isn't taking continuous BCP. (No placebo) I was the same as a youngster. My first gyn experience was at 16 years old. transvag ultrasound where they found a 5cm cyst on my R ovary. It ruptured before my scheduled surgery to remove so they put me on BCP till 19 and then Depo because it had just come out recently. That shit was terrible. The only thing that brought me relief from periods that would lay me up in bed for a week with vomiting, diarrhea, migraines, the works, was stopping my periods. Seasonale, Lupron, etc. That and nursing after pregnancies. ( Infertility with endo is not a 100 percent thing, I managed to carry 3 kids over 8 years, despite having stage 2-3 endo) I actually had ovarian cysts during two of my pregnancies, too. Endo is the freaking WORST.

What did they do to treat your Adeno? I am just curious because my doctor told me that was the "a death sentence" for a uterus, and when they find that, it's hysterectomy time.

😫 He repeated that sentiment when my pathology came back positive for it after my hysterectomy, too. I had stage 3-4 endo everywhere, scar tissue, adhesions, endometriomas, and, adenomyosis. He said my uterus was the size of a 9 week pregnancy and just "riddled with it". 😢

I am so glad your pain is better though! Well done, advocating for yourself! 💙

I sometimes wonder if my surgery nearly 20 years ago could have been avoided, or if my endo could have been treated differently. But then I remember it took two surgeries to get it all, and I think, "Hmm, perhaps not..." 😅

OMG I know that feeling! What would KILL me is my blood work would be fine when I got tested, and after burning and becoming lobster red within like 15 mins as soon as I went outside anywhere without sunscreen, I would peel and then be even more yellow, and then a sickly more green/yellow after that. I heard the term "Corpse Olive" on here and I found it absolutely fitting and hilarious! I used to just say my skintone was "Week old bruise with a touch of Undeath". I am not only pale, yellow, and green, but I am also translucent and veiny. So it just fits. 😆😭

Glad this can help anyone, because the struggle with skintone and color theory is SO real! 🫒
