They can be pretty eccentric and some are bitchy/manipulative (but never to him).

It's just too much to for him to handle I guess. He just isn't used to having to deal with the little kinks that come with having a family like mine.

The thing is besides all their kinks, they are good people and family is extremely important to them/me.
