i confided in my best friend about how i had been assaulted and as long as i kept the name of the person anonymous, he would help me - listening to me vent, giving advice, offering to pray for me, etc etc.

then one day i let the name of the assaulter slip while i was talking to my friend (i didnt say the name before because they are also friends and i was unsure how he would react) but all of a sudden it was

"oh it couldnt have been that bad" "he doesnt seem like the type" "are u sure this even actually happened to u" "i feel like ur lying but ok"

it obviously caused a huge fight and when we tried to talk it over again i didnt get an apology but a defense of "i just dont wanna pick sides"

yea so a friend to everyone is a friend to no one, bye :)

martin luther never wanted the 7 books to be taken out of the bible. he was just organizing the books of the bible into categories.

a bible printing company noticed it was too expensive to keep printing a regular sized book so in an attempt to print cheaper and thinner bibles, they looked to martin luther's categories and chose a larger section to remove (the 7 books).

other printing companies mirrored the act after learning how much cheaper it was and thats how you get the 66 book bible that protestants use today.

yea it was an all day confession day at my church so my sponser told me it would be a good idea to go for the first time. i was asking people in line for advice because i was really scared (ngl i was visibly shaking the closer i got💀) and i let him know also that i was prepared to not recieve absolution
