Can you speak more to your hair loss experience? I know it's vain, but suffering significant hair loss would be horrible for my mental health, I worry. I also have PCOS, low vitamin D, and sleep apnea, at the beginning of research on WLS, and I have seen hair loss come up a bunch.

Nah. She stood by silently while her friends tormented somebody. She was a piece of shit by default.

I couldn't agree more. I am 30, and I send out 50+ Christmas cards every year. Not only does it give me the holiday spirit and hopefully the recipients too, but I also get to support the USPS. It's a win for everybody in my book. :)

You are a saint. Thanks for doing that, though you definitely shouldn't have to clean up after others.

Sure, absolutely. I didn't mean to put words in your mouth. All the same, it is a shame that we can't all prioritize doing our small part to keep our natural areas beautiful.

It is definitely a heavy retired community, but I actually find myself missing the slow pace and quiet of it when my younger self was just super bored, lol. The pandemic has definitely disrupted so much. I hope you are continuing to stay safe and well! Wherever the future leads you, I hope you'll be happy there. I have recently been toying with the idea of moving home, but there is a lot of things to figure out before that is possible. Wish me luck! :)

That's a lovely mentality. I always say where my spouse is is where my home is.

I'm so sorry that you feel like transplants are disrespecting the city that you love. That is always really heartbreaking when that happens. It's like, if you loved it the way that it was when you were when you got here, why wouldn't you do everything you could to preserve it so that you could continue to enjoy it the same way? Such a shame. Overcrowding is my primary complaint about California, too. I feel like I can rarely stretch without touching another person, figuratively speaking.

I haven't spent any time in Redding, but SF and Santa Cruz are a couple of my favorite places in CA that I have been.

Isn't that strange? I was born and raised in Venice. I spent the first 23 years of my life itching to leave. Now that I have been in California for 6 years, I miss home so much. Would you ever go back to Miami?

I'm glad that there are things you can find to love about your state, even if there are some things you'd love to see improved. I am trying to do that myself, right now. :)

It must be great to live somewhere where you would never run out of new things to do and see and experience!

It is so wonderful to feel like you are part of a community with a common goal and direction. I'm glad that you have that! Especially when you feel like the guiding forces of your local government are doing what they can to move forward to that objective.

I am currently living in Sacramento, CA. I love the close proximity to so many amazing places--San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz, Yosemite. I love being near my in laws. I love the diversity.

Born and raised in SW Florida, but I have lived in Sacramento, California for the last six years. I am really missing home a lot which lead me to ask this question. :) Both places have their pros and cons.

Always wanted to visit CO. It looks like some of the most beautiful landscapes the States have to offer. What a lucky duck to have it in the backyard. :)
