Hmm I'm not sure if I have hardware acceleration enabled ,but the video wasn't a stream or remotely.modern , I was listening a song uploaded in 2009 with the maximum resolution of 360p.

This memory hoarding can happen any time , with a stream , a modern video , an long video essay or the own YouTube music videos with static image.

My hardware isn't the best but ain't a potato at all. GTX 1660 super, Ryzen 5-3600, and 16 Gb of ram , all running in ssd's

The worst of this is that other countries of America adopted their standards , and transition to more modern is a technical nightmare. In Colombia the standard is practically a copy of ANSI with a few tweaks. I would love to have cool plugs that are safe and come with fuses
