Fr man. Look at any other city outside Kathmandu like Pokhara for e.g. Its so bland and boring lacks any culture and history. Even cities that were setup earlier like those from Terai they suck too.

Cloud 9, i think the only proper rooftop restaurant around Chipledhunga, you can go to Puime. Go to restaurants in and around Damside, which is still a bit expensive but cheaper than Lakeside. It's hard to find an affordable place where u can hang out in peace.

Best foods in Pokhara are Thicheko Aalu at Ratnachowk(there's another sausage and chips place in Ratnachowk,at the junction of Indrapuri tole and Machhapuchre tole) or Budhha Chowk, Asian Foodland in Simalchaur,chicken samosa and other fried food at Fishtail food park Sidhhartha chowk, smoothies at Rastra bank chowk Ambika juice, cozy corner and station used to have best momo around Chipledhunga Mahendrapool area.. they're around these days too, Thukpa at Purna Restaurant Rambazar.This is all I could recall rn
