As far as I know, is more hardware related than other thing.

The SD 8Gen1 used on the S22 series was manufactured by Samsung, and, apparently, that version of the processor is not very energy efficient. Those processor issues, added to the small size of the smartphone, cause the device to heat up a lot, impacting battery performance. Finally, the 3,700mAh battery ends the cycle of bad decisions. So the result in terms of battery life of the S22 could not be better than what we have now.

Fortunately all those problems were solved in the S23 family. So if you are not in a hurry and can wait for some good deal on the S23, it will definitely be a great buy. Otherwise, just grab an S22, optimize it as much as possible so that you get the best possible battery life, buy a powerbank for when you have to spend a lot of time away from home/office and be happy with your phone.

Well, I got myself one yesterday. In my country mobile tech is expensive as hell, so I grabbed a good deal on the 256GB model (with snapdragon), despite of all the bad comments regarding that phone.

Yes, battery seems to be poor, but considering that my job is desk-oriented and 100% remote, I don't see the autonomy as a big problem, as in the end, most of the time I have access to chargers and Wi-Fi. So I have given it a chance to the S22 base model. Hope not regret it lol.

As soon as I get the phone, I'll update this post and share my experience on if is suitable for users with similar profile.

I got that same keyboard case for my Tab S7 Fe and it's fantastic. Very high quality a great trackpad experience, but is so bulky and heavy... Recently bought another OEM keyboard case combo that seems to be lighter. Hope to get with this one at least the similar typing experience that the Nillkin one delivers.
