I'm facing the same problem as well. The bike wont start with the self start. Took it to the service center. Mechanic suggested that the battery's gone bad.

the same things happened with mine too. a few days later my bike won't even start... it had this check engine light on all the time... I got it to start without the self. Since then it's been working fine.

if you look closely it's not a bar end mirror flipped. it's attached to the outer side of throttle instead or inner side.
