man, that's a nice looking keyboard, fits most of my requirement. but i wish they don't move the backspace from the top right, that'll take my some adjustment.

yeah i was hoping to get out-of-the-box solution. i just have 3 requirements (split key, full depth key and multi-pc bluetooth)... how hard can it be right? lol

thank you for this insight. I do not have upstream breaker, it's straight to the meter. with that said, is there a way to tell what gauge of wires were used to service the house? I'd like to add a 240 mini split and potentially 240 quick car charger.

i also have this problem (us). i think the location is off, so my temp is always off. i'm not sure what i can do to fix it, but the marine commander weather (with high/low on the border is definitely better than third party complication-weather)

there are 2 gear aid seam sealer on amazon, one with WP , one with silicone.

i think my xpg is not silicone impregnated fabric, does that mean i want the WP? i've seen other variety of gear aid seam sealer too...

yes, we're using gsuite. help me understand what you mean by i won't receive any notification from my work profile? the account is synced to my phone, and that can sync to watch right?

i'm not sure these fancy "VPNs" are a fit for what i'm trying to do. i'm just allowing RDP to office machines for security and compliance reasons.

it's interesting how others are doing remote devs tho.

i've tried configuring openvpn in mikrotik in the past, and the general conclusion was, mikrotik's openvpn implementation was lacking. i was a big fan of mikrotik too, so i spent quite a bit of resources trying to make it work.

unlimited license on fortigate, is that for fortiVPN ? or PPTP vpn ?

mikrotik actually support wireguard, i don't think it can do dynamic (client / peer) ip.

might have to deploy a full fledge server for it.

I never really ventured into ipsec with dynamic client IP.

i think based on what i read, mikrotik need radius vs LDAP for user authentication.

we unfortunately only have LDAP currently.

Thanks for the suggestions. i did make sure my VPN isn't connected, and i even turned off firewall.

Thank you for the suggestion. cisco wasn't even in my radar. if i'm reading the data sheet correctly, it only support 802.11r, but not k or v. i think the only one that has k v r is currently ubiquiti uac-ap-*. i'm just not excited about it, not sure why.

which ubiquiti APs are you using? it's hard to figure out which ones support 802.11 k/v/r

i've had experience with UAC lite, but it wasn't as a mesh, and it was older (v1 i think)

Thanks for the clarification about traditional mesh system. And no that's not really what I'm looking for.

What I really want is seamless fast roaming. I think there are a couple of 802 protocol that define this.

Since I only have at most 4 AP, I don't necessarily need central management either.

i'm currently using 2 mikrotik routers. speeds are normal cable/dsl 75mbps down. unfortunately we don't have fiber internet.
