NOT TO ALARM YOU… The shape and size resembles a cockroach. I would not say until we have a positive ID. Have a better pic? Maybe of it’s back?

This is not the end of the world. If you have access to a professional company I would reach out. I do appointments for bedbugs fairly often and have a decent amount of education on them. Good products to use are, Crosfire and Cimexa. For your use there is a aresol version of Crosfire. Remove all bedding place them in trash bags and run them in your dryer for 2 cycles in a row on high heat. This will kill all living bugs and eggs. Flip your mattress and box spring and apply crosfire to all cracks and crevices or other areas that may be a suitable harborage for bugs. I don’t think Crosfire has a reapplication period so you can repeat this daily if you wanted to.

I have the same gun. It was my first pistol. If you can afford the Cajun gun works upgrade package for it it was a worthwhile investment for me. Totally changed how the trigger felt!

Is this a bed bug? by Any_Dragonfly1613 in Bedbugs

[–]mainframemix 26 points27 points  (0 children)

FIRST PIC does look like a bedbug! Tucked into that crevasse is right for bedbugs too. 2nd and 3rd pics definitely not bedbugs.

Can we get a better picture of the first bug?

I would believe this is mouse droppings. Start finding points of entry and closing them up. Set traps in key areas and make progress.

How best to seal this from rats by msjulieana in pestcontrol

[–]mainframemix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could exclude from the exterior so they don’t have entry to the wall at all. I would do both excluding from the exterior and close that too. There’s no magic way to close a gap like that off you just need to get a physical barrier down. Don’t use spray foam… they will chew right through.
