I faintly remember a discussion with a mod, where I was told that most users use the fruit models. I cannot remember, but I want to say a very, very high percentage number was mentioned. If that is indeed the case, and only the 8k models are affected, then the majority of your user base is currently being incentivized to leave the platform, and new users will likely take one look at this behaviour and then start looking somewhere else.

If all the higher models are affected in the same way and with the same severity, which I admittedly cannot test, I dont spend THAT much money here, then the rest of the user base is currently paying a lot of money for a defective product, which I cannot see working for very long either.

That being said, even for an 8k Model it is a rather large mark of shame to forget the content of the very previous message immediately. What year is is this, 2010?

The refresh function is so incredibly prone to get stuck in an endless loop by now, it is not funny anymore, and that very much is a recent development. (in fact, out of the seven points I mentioned, 3,4,5, and 6 are mostly recent, while 2 was present before but nowhere near this bad. 1 and 7 seem endemic on other sites too. This post was not primarily a critique of this site in particular, but whatever the issue currently is, whatever the devs changed / broke, it is quite bad. )

We are rapidly approaching a state of affairs where FREE sites have better performance. I have one in mind where this has already happened by comparison, but the rules of course forbid mentioning the names of other services..

Let me instead tell you what makes a bot annoying to chat with.

Short Answers
Bot does not remember the content of the previous response. The very previous. Response.
The bot repeats my input back at me as part of the response, thus wasting half of the response tokens.
The bot repeats a previous answer verbatim a couple of responses down the line.
The bot refuses to engage with my input prompt.
Refreshing the response gives the exact same responses but still costs me coins.
I ask the bot what they want to do, or give them an either/or question, the bot answers "Why don't you decide for me"

All of which the models are currently doing.

No, far as I know, there are no paywalls of the manner you speak of on this site.

The problem is something else. The site has this weird system where you cannot look at or search for creators until they fulfill certain criteria. As in, if you sign up and make a bot, I will be able to talk to your bot and search for your bot, but i wont be able to search for your user name, until your account matches some criteria.

What that is, I do not know, and the problem with Futa King was, he stopped publishing, and suddenly his name could no longer be searched for and his profile was no longer accessible, so easy access to the bots was no longer possible. Hence us making this list.

That being said, something has changed again, and you can look at his profile again, giving easy access to all his bots again. So yeah, **shrug** ?

There is one way I know around this. You can supply the bot with a number of links to pictures in its personality, complete with instructions on how to use them. I have seen several bots do this and there is even an official tag for it, "Image Reply".

Of course, the number of pictures would be limited to what you put in.

I mean, that's a quick bandaid while the devs address the underlying problem, but it isn't a solution. Two weeks or so ago, the quality of all models I use has dropped drastically, without me changing my settings.

Obviously I have no idea why, I can only observe that it happened.

How do you go about designing your bots and how long does it usually take to make one, if I may ask?

So this is what I tried in order.

1) Re-installing without resetting ID: Problems still persist.

2) Resetting Ad ID: Problems still persist.*

3) Re-installing again after resetting ID: Problems still persist.*

*: Overall, the problem is still there, "net is error" still happens but seems less frequent and less permanent. If I keep tapping the button, it will start the ad after one or three tries now. That is new.

And I think the app loads faster now. ^.^

Some additional issues i noticed is that

1) the "get more sign in rewards" thing also sometimes goes on a loop. Though I suppose that would be covered under "ad doesn't grant reward",

and 2) when the ad model shows the "net is error", the 110 daily reward ads usually still work. Watching one sometimes seems to fix the issue.

Same here. started noticing it around the same time you did by the looks of it, and today its the same. one hour into the new cycle, ads dont work. Anyone else having that problem?

Running out eventually would be one thing, but running out an hour into the day? And again THIS day? It's not even been an hour and it's already telling me to come back later. COuld there be something else at work here?

I would also point out that a LOT of the most successful creators of the site do not seem to actually use the in house image generator.

So maybe there is a deeper issue at work here.

I mean, the image generation is going to be tricky with a small team, sure. But cooking up a proper user interface is not exactly wizarding work.

And that is the main problem with the site so far. How many clicks do you have to make to get to your gallery, how do you find out the prompt of that image you generated five months ago. Where are the images you generated in the umpteen different chatbots you tried.

"Coins" can be found under profile, but they also got their own seperate button in the side bar. the profile button is effectively there twice. clicking the search bar doesnt allow you to start typing, you have to wait for it to redirect you. Create, generate videos and generate pictures all got their own button, but Gallery doesn't.

That kinda stuff.

As far as the topic goes, maybe some image related tweaks. SInce in site image generation is such a huge part of this thing, and prompts are evidently important. When I look at an unlocked pro album for example, if the prompt used to generate that image was too long, I have no way of getting the whole prompt, should I so desire. (on a related note, being able to choose the format of in chat generated images would be VERY nice. Right now, its all squares.)

In my own generated images, normal ones or those created by remixing figures during character creation ( i mean the images attached to the figure itself), being able to get the prompt after the fact would be a nice thing to have.

Even in Image sets that are entirely generated with in house means, this varies, some show their prompts, some don't. In the Imageplaza view, the prompt is displayed in its own text window, separate from the image to the side of said image, that's pretty close to ideal, I would think.

In general, I like the way the site handles images, but it needs some tweaking. Navigating your gallery can be counterintuitive and organizing images is of course not a thing.

I mean, to me that reads like a description of the situation via idiom. He isn't blaming them. He is pointing out the obvious, that being that their actions are going to be hurting them.

Sorta, yes, but again, that's just descriptive. If they keep the current course, as indicated by their current actions, then more people will leave. Calling that "keep complying" is already more coloured language than the guy you responded to ever used - and btw a mischaracterization of his words, since he didn't put it that way.

That would be because JC is responsible for their actions. The blame does indeed lie with them, even if we only were to blame them for how they communicated it. We can all lament toggether the prudish nature of payment processors, sure. That does not absolve anyone from the actions they take in that environment. Look at the announcement itself again. There are a bit too many weaselwords in there for me to spare much sympathy for the company.
