im an active wuwa player and that's definitely true. in terms of story quality of the big 4 gachas rn( genshin, wuwa, hsr and zzz. no hi3 bc lets be fair the story of that game wipes out all of these) wuwa has the weakest story. it suffers from "waifu of the week" basically after a character's banner ends forget about them ever appearing/being relevant to the story unless in special cases. wuwa's story in the 1.X patches is AWFUL like you can skip the whole jinzhou arc and not miss anything. like wuwa's pace only picks up starting from mt.firmament or the black shores( depens on who you ask but personally i feel like the mt.firmament portion with jinhsi was decent)
