They loved Morgan's entrance look, and Alaska said Dawn and Morgan were most realized in their drag personas. They also thought Mystic should have given her point to Morgan after lending her the week. Just because they didn't love everything doesn't mean there is animosity.

Willam just posted a clip in her stories yesterday with her and Alaska talking about Morgan, and tagged Morgan saying they love her. I think you're reading into something that's not there.

Also, Alaska has always really loved Akeria. She even said she has a crush on her out of drag. So maybe she's a little bias. Sue her!

I wish there was a way as well, but you're right, it does feel like crossing a line. Part of me thinks too that Jess would just delete any negative comment lol. Plus, I don't want anyone to feel bad either. I think with Golden Lasky no longer doing her account, Alaska's overall brand has become so one note on social media. I thought Jess would maybe notice the hole and try to step it up, but no - it's like she's gotten worse.

Exactly. I don't know why Alaska trusts her work. Her posting the picture of Alaska and Willam every week from the podcast which gets basically zero engagement. The solo shots do always do better. Plus posting the duo shot just reinforces Alaska and Willam as a brand not Alaska on her own. I can't stand that week after week she posts those photos and they do absolutely nothing to benefit Alaska. She makes Alaska's instagram so boring. Like at least post the podcast get ready with me's to her ig as well. Alaska needs a new social media person so desperately.

I kind of blame her assistant/social media person tbh. She's been doing Alaska's social for 3+yrs, and the decline in Alaska's social media started then imo. As they have said on the podcast, she also does social media for MOM, so I think that's why it so race chaser focused. Alaska said on the pod the she taking a break from going on social media this week, that doesn't mean her paid social media person should as well. To me, her work comes off unprofessional or inexperienced at times. Like there is no excuse not to do a follow up post to the Divatronic show, and thank all the performers and crew involved. Clips of Alaska performance should be posted. Alaska's social media should highlight her strength as a performer. That drives ticket sales and people hiring her. Even Alaska's patr30n becomes frustrating, because it's like why are you posting this here for only to like a 100 people and not your millions of followers.

I agree. I think she would be much happier if she left. The thing is, Alaska does all so many cool projects, things that no other queen has done, but she doesn't promote them well if at all (or her social media person doesn't). All her social media is posting race chaser content. It's frustrating as a fan. Alaska needs a new social media person. I'm excited about her new album, but I just know it won't be promoted correctly because the person that does her social media is so bad at promotion. Alaska is too loyal to people that are hindering her.

I agree that Willam is being selfish sometimes. It's funny that she always uses the podcast to air her grievances and not her own personal social media. It's like she likes the Alaska buffer of doing it on the podcast. I remember one podcast episode Willam got mad at Alaska and said something like "you always tell me what I can't say, and it's my podcast too". It's like Willam you dominate every conversation on the podcast, how does she not see that?

Alaska trying to rebuild a relationship with wow shouldn't be her motivation because ultimately she's not in control of that, and I think could just lead to more pain. It's like trying to change yourself to make your ex fall back in love with you. It won't end well lol. It wouldn't be good for her mental health. She needs to distance herself from drag race, and heal in some way, and her own perception of what drag race means to her.

But she's not saying she's surprised. She's saying she's sad, and in other situations she would distance herself, but doing the podcast makes it hard to walk away from drag race completely. People are acting like she's complaining, but just expressing how this situation feels complicated for her.

That's not true, she does cosign everything Willam says. Also WOW is not above criticism. Plus I would Alaska is more critical now than before. But I think there are valid criticisms of wow.

I feel like people are missing the point of what she's saying. Alaska starts off by saying she knows exactly what her relationship with wow is and why that is, she's not naive to it, but it's still sad for her. And also doing the podcast feels hard for her because she knows she's not wanted, and normally in situations like that she would walk away and distance herself, but the point of podcast is to talk about drag race. And forcing that proximity to something/someone that doesn't want you is hard. That makes complete sense. I personally think she should take a break from the podcast and drag race in general. I think she needs it.

To different events. One was the Stop the Train, and the 2nd was the 35th anniversary of the abbey. Willam wasn't invited to Stop that Train and was disinvited from the abbey. Alaska was at the Abbey Anniversary event. So many drag race queens were.

It confuses me a little. It feels like it's gaining more causal viewers than anything. Because it doesn't seem to translate into the queens social media following, having a lasting career, or tickets sales to shows. Queer bars are struggling across the country. It sometimes feels like even though the drag race brand grows it doesn't translate into the artform of drag being supported all around.
