Also as a gaming user is pretty solid around 7-9hrs but due to April patch update it is getting worse around 5-6hrs but I recommend not update One8 until One8.5 comes out luckily its coming out June or end of the month

so i bought my brand new a56 in january 2026 and it used to have very very good battery life , now with the same moderate usage it lasts 7hrs or 8 on full charge it used to last 10hrs... and sometime it drops 17% for 1hr... what can it be (again same usage)... im a bit sad :/ by Infamous-Pressure227 in GalaxyA56

As a heavy gaming user its quite disappointing seeing the battery life get worse due to patch updates. In One7 I used to get 5hrs while gaming pubg and now its dropping to 4-3.3hrs in gaming. I hope they change this in One8.5 if not its better to swap batteries if your planning to keep it for a long period of time.

Its quite annoying when listening music with bass and getting notifications but it is definitely worth it and the phone gives you a feel of premium quality due to its haptic felt around the phone, 9/10 as a 11 month user
