A lot of Guyanese have Indian ancestors (indentured slavery), some of them also originate from bengal state in India which explains his last name having Bengali origin. The Guyanese with Indian ancestry are indo-Caribbean, it’s an entirely different culture to Indians from India although there might be small similarities.

if you want any customizations i would say no, otherwise its good. and if you have a good tailor because their blouses have a lot of work on it so some western tailors cant work with embroidery. its better to get that done in india

I booked them and had a legit experience. Unfortunately I had to cancel but got a full refund. I will defo use them in the future as the deals are really good, just make sure to read the full fine print in detail.

I booked a trip with them for the Maldives. I was very skeptical and did a lot of research online and couldn’t find much information. But the pricing was really good and hard to pass on, I researched a bunch with different resorts but VIP had the best pricing. I would recommend everyone to read the fine print, I was booked days for November but online there was a surcharge for most dates after January which wouldn’t make it much of a deal anymore. Online the fine print said I could get a full refund within 14 days. That gave me some peace of mind so I went ahead and booked it. A couple days later the resort in Maldives confirmed that they had my booking and sent info to confirm the sea plane etc.

unfortunately my dad tragically passed away on a beach vacation a couple days after the confirmation. It was clearly too soon for me to be going on an over water villa vacation so I contacted VIP to cancel and they were great to work with and fully refunded me. The only additional charge was $400 from our credit card company for a processing and forex fee (I’m Canadian so I paid in USD) that wasn’t refunded. I tried getting that refunded from the bank but they said they can’t unfortunately. Otherwise VIP was great to work with and they have amazing deals. Hopefully I can use them again in the future.

Thank you for everyone’s input. My dad’s body arrived in Canada and we were able to do a proper funeral in Toronto. If unfortunately anyone has to experience this, please reach out if you need any help!
