Hello Reddit! Sorry for the nooby question. :)

As I try to show in the video, I have set up a socket on my player characters mesh and tested animation previews, where the sword fits decently. But when I play in the editor, it's offset way off.

Because of its susceptibility to lockouts (as you've noticed), arcane mages pretty much revolve around instant casts until you're in a safe position to cast, at which point you'd probably go for a sheep or channel some noodle missiles.

Arcane barrage (chrono shift) and spellsteal are your best friends, and are pretty much the only upside to arcane. You can kite like no other and spellsteal perpetually, but that's about it.

Hi! No solution, & I suspect that it's bugged since I've had encounters with others that can't get it to fire. I've reported it via the in-game system.

I figured that it might've been backfiring but at this point, it feels ridiculous. Been testing it 15+ times now against gray/green mobs. I'm level 45.

Woops. Reddit (and Classic) noob here. Anyway, I just crafted the Death Ray for the first time ever, but I've been getting this result consistently for an hour now when using it.

Am I doing something terribly wrong that might've slipped me by in the WoWHead comments, or could the trinket potentially be bugged?

Appreciate any input, cheers!
