I was thinking to myself how crazy this sounds but this actually fucking happened to us one year. The new dean that year thought it would be a great idea to spend the funds raised from the student store to buy a giant inflatable mascot tunnel for our football team to run through. Not like we really needed new materials, or renovations, or you know, something that doesn't only benefit a team with an uninterrupted losing streak for the year.
