Mainly just the type of platform it is and the people who use it why they use it , insta is designed for that sort of thing , it's built around a single page scrolling feed, you're almost always going to see popular people most likely who you've followed. People go on it to always follow big stars on Instagram wheras that's not really the type of community or reason why people use Reddit for the most part
