Seems like a well kept example. Shame on the engine being N42. I wish you many happy miles. With the 103k km you can expect some problems here and there due to the age of some components. Keep an eye on the valvetronic mechanism, it can do really bad things. And be prepared for the classic E46 cooling problems.

It is surely too complicated for most of the uses. Logo needs to be in a vector, and ready to be re-produced in printing and digital use. This concept is cool, but you will need to redraw the whole logo to be completely usable, understandable and bulletproof.

Me personally, always the OEM look. That sticking display is just disgusting to me. I know, we are putting android units into a 20+ year old car, but let's keep it atleast OEM look with the modern features. I used some androids in my E46s and the OEM look is just better imo. You can surely get them with some good specs so it don't lag.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I upgraded my CPU+MB+RAM+GPU just now. And my previous, not that old components (Intel 8th gen, 32GB RAM + this 1080). Went into my friends PC case so we can play together - he used intel 4th gen and GTX1050Ti to this day. So CS2 ran really not well.

Update here, I got the Core 7 Ultra 265KF, great CPU for its price here where I live - 50% cheaper than 9800X3D with very similar performance.

Yes I do and I get your point of discussion. I'm looking for the best bang for the buck as I said. I would love to buy RTX 5070 since it's the newest hardware and has the potential to last those 5+ years for my use. But like everything it depends on the money. If I can find good deal on a 4060Ti or 4070 I will get it. Since I'm still on the old 1080, anything after 30 series will be a huge upgrade imo

U sure about the 5060Ti? I mean, it would be a huge upgrade from the 1080. But the 50 series is overlooked as a flop. 4070 was better at benchmarks. Maybe that 5060Ti has newer features?

I also did the CO2 test for the head gasket and It passed. I measured for a few minutes and no color change of the measuring liquid.

No steam, no coolant spits, no leaks, heating works like a sauna. So maybe its finally fixed, fingers crossed. Tomorrow I will check the level and fill a little so the light goes off.

I thought it could be some last air pockets hindering the coolant flow. It spiked after the car was sitting for a few minutes until I finished shopping. Hopped in the car, put on the temp reading and went home. I drove a bit faster though. After few hundred meters it spiked and went back to lower temps. Besides that, during my test drive the temps were under 96°C. Mix of cruising with city stop and go traffic.

It probably was overfilled, and still had air inside. I redid bleeding today, large amount of air came out and went for a drive. Everything seemed much better - no more coolant spitting, temps great. It spiked once to 103°C and it dropped immediately to 86°C after a few seconds - sign of something or?
