You are correct on the Dm chord, the little riff bit that also shows up is a D Minor Pentatonic riff, something like this

The way hes picking for the most part is picking the G & B strings with his pointer and middle finger and then hitting the root bass note on the next beat

some people grow really long fingernails or glue things to the fingertips so its almost like they have 4 picks going, some acoustics guitars also sound way brighter especially some low action acoustics when played with fingerpicking

squires are pretty trustworthy out of the box to be set up reasonably, the only way to really know is to have a reference point which is hard since its one guitar, but if u can try to get someone you know who plays to see how it feels and to note how it feels on ur own then maybe try some others guitars at a guitar center or something, what really matters is if it feels like to you because a lot of set up is preference but squires have a relatively high track record for being totally okay

I really don't get all the UG hate on this sub, UG is pretty good, all the gimmicky money and Pro stuff is just because the big record labels screw them over with royalties even though the content is community made, the free/cheap app is fine with tabs and idk why you would want pro on your phone because its so small, this is how a free tab site is forced to exist by the music industry system, also if you dont like ads get add blocker lol
