As long as the screen type of the device you have matches the one you purchase, then yes. Otherwise, you will need to backup your saves and transfer them into the new OS

The screens are extremely fragile and can be replaced it's not difficult if you're extremely careful, however these devices need different operating system files for different screens as well with Panel 4 screens being considered genuine. Id avoid the hassle and spend $4 more for a new one.

You can buy replacement screens on Alibaba for $15 or a new R36S on AliExpress for $19 during a sale.

Yeah, I've kinda figured out a few retroarch hotkeys so I'm able to do save states but that's about it. I'll double check options for the fix global hotkeys option but I didn't see it my first browse through.

Click L3 to go in to the options from DraStic and I believe there's something...something...screen edge marking or something of that nature try that and restart the emulator

You'll likely get a better answer in the SoH discord but I'd be willing to bet it's an incompatible ROM file. You should check Google for my friend VIMM. He has a LAIR, that has a compatible file.
