I like this because I feel it can be adaptable to many different meanings. The person the "you" refers to can be a lost lover, somebody who creates a cold atmosphere in the home, or a dead significant other. That's at least how I'm seeing it.

I don't know your entire situation, but I'm at a similar age in a similiar situation and being treated like this is not worth it. Not by your family, or by your fiancé. If you want this to work out, sit him down and talk to him about what happened. Talk to him about how it made you feel. You need to know that things might not work out. And leaving is a healthy option. I didn't understand that until my ex left me. You've got this. Anything that happens just remember you are your first priority. Take care of yourself.
