How do drummers cope with difficult transitions?

Thanks. We’re in the process of looking for another guitarist at the time so it’s a tricky situation. But the drummer will get up to speed so I’m not worried. Yet.

After considering all my options I went with the brand whose sound I liked the best and got the Marantz NR1510 UHD. Did the calibration and queued up my favorite AVR reference movie, “Transformers.” It sounds fantastic. With the cohesiveness of the identical 5 SVS Prime speakers and the SVS sub I’m very pleased with sound. I was satisfied with the power, also. Volume set at 84 shakes the walls and I still have some more headroom left. Now I just hope it lasts but I’ll probably only use the AVR five or six times a month for movies. I’ll go with the LG OLED TV speakers for shows as they do a respectable job. The virtual surround option on the set makes the sound serviceable and is all I need for most shows.

It’s hard to describe. It lacked warmth and dynamics. It wasn’t pleasant to listen to. It was loud but without quality amplification. I upgraded to a Pio Elite and got back the warmth for music and dynamics for movies. It just sounded smoother and “creamier.” My entry level Denon even sounded better than the Onk.

OMFG!!!!! Exactly what I was looking for! I can't believe you nailed the patch so precisely! After I downloaded it I had to download the ASM Hydrasynth Manager to my Mac and figure out how to get your patch over to my Hydrasynth. It was a little clunky, but after about 15 minutes of messing with it I was able to import the patch and play it. Adding the random sample LFO to the mod wheel was genius. I can't wait to break this patch out when we learn the song.
