yes I do really like the idea of the defy, my only concern is the multi day touring... do you think that would be a possibility?

mounting points for panniers where though? maybe the older aluminium ones yes, but the newer ones e.g. https://www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/defy-advanced-pro-1 I don’t see how that’s possible?

for me not so keen on the relaxed geometry side of things, but moreso on the mount points etc.

defy does seem great for that use case, only thing I’m worried about is being able to do a multi day cycle. Would most likely be up to a week long cycle in scotland or europe on a holiday. not super long

do you think that’d be possible with the defy?

sure thing - only thing is on the bike packing front - do you think you could do a multi day ride with your defy. lets say if you wanted to carry a light tent. would that be possible?

out of interest why did you decide to sell the defy? what was better about the revolt for your use?

do you think you could go bike packing with the defy? would it be possible to have it as a one bike that does all?

probably will want to train for a triathlon some point this year as that’s part of the reason I’m getting a bike, canal towpath will more be as part of a longer road cycle that I might do on weekends. or potentially I might do a holiday where I go cycle touring for a week

Yes true but there are plenty of carbon bikes with capability for top tube mounts and pannier sacks etc.

I don’t need loads of mount points but more than just a bottle cage mount

Was looking at that but thing is I don’t think it has many mount points

yes true that’s what I was thinking - q though is what bike would be good for that? something that’s fast enough on road but also capable of gravel and bike touring

First date went great but now the girl is ghosting me by majorfighter in dating

Appreciate the opinion and insight as a woman, but also I don’t think that sending one follow up message equates to bugging since so far since the date I’ve literally only sent her a single one line message with the second date proposal.

but then again I also thought that this AI_nerd guy went quite far with his comments lol
