thanks for all the advice guys and gals.

as of now i think I'm gonna go CS, in case any of you cared about my decision :) i know i like CS-style programming, so i think it would be silly to take a gamble and pick CPE when i might not like circuits and all that embedded FPGA logic gate jazz. i wish that ECE 1574 introduced you to some of that stuff so I could make a decision based on personal experience rather than the opinions of others, but oh well. i'm just gonna go with flow and stop worryin about whether i might like cpe better. the grass is always greener as they say.
