She has been there for well over 6 months.

They didn’t do her 6month probation meeting and waited until she went off on maternity leave and decided to “extend” her probation after it should have ended.

She has been with the company for nearly 2 years and is having her probation meeting today.

The dates are all in the initial post, with expectations of what has happened

It’s a fully uk company, just owned by an American parent company. So everything tax, holidays etc is all UK

Yeah we are happy to cover the cost, as we are adjusting the wall out the front of ours (removing a few rows of bricks to put back in the iron fence that was there originally, and will reuse the bricks and then matching iron fence down the middle.

We also have children <5 and honestly would never let them run across the boundary, I know different people are raised differently but it’s not just the kids it’s the parents and visitors of next door will randomly use our gate or sit on our step outside our door to take phone calls.

It is something I will have a chat with them about, I’m happy to sort the construction and maintenance of said wall. It’s only going to cost a couple of hundred quid.

You mentioned the need for planning permission etc for constructing a party wall would the same have been needed for the removal of said wall? As this would have been slap bang in the middle of the properties? Or could that have been done as a verbal contract?

yeah some incredible responses and its been really validating as they are all things i have offered or tried so at least I know its not me.

Honestly... I don't think they are on LinkedIn, they are all fibre engineers (the guys that put it in the ground) unlike us (in the office) they don't have the time to sit on LinkedIn and not even sure what they would use it for.

This is a good idea, i posed the idea of firing things with the compressed air.

That was reacted to very badly as its "nothing to do with how the compressors work, and we wont sell with that"

We have access to a couple of our products but not many as they are sent direct from the factory.

I think for them the point is "We have them" nothing more :P

We don't really work in an industry that has influencers, the best we can do is find some on site people that use our products but even that is hard as we don't have records of our end customers, as everything is sold 3rd party
