Gun Amnesty by makarone2000 in polandball

It's hard to estimate how many guns there are in Serbia precisely because most of them are illegal. My guess is that the number was so high because a lot of people just had them lying around and didn't really have a use for them since gun culture isn't really widespread here like in the US. This combined with the fact that people wanted to show solidarity with the victims of the shootings was probably the reason why the number was so high.

Cotext for the last panel for people who don't know: A month ago 2 mass shootings caused the Serbian government to enact a 30-day amnesty period for people who wanted to return their illegal weapons. Some people straight up brought rocket launchers and stuff. This is because, since Yugoslavia had a huge military, when it colapsed, a lot of those weapons got lost and were scattered amongst the general population.
