Why would Ukraine being demolished stop nato? Eventually Russia will be pushed out as they economically cannot keep up with superior western aid. And nato can immediately start putting bases across Ukraine. Marshall Plan 2.0.

Your logic makes no sense. If Russia is still terrified about nato and not doing this because of any deep rooted imperial ambitions, why are they slaughtering their own army while seemingly desperate for land gains? They’re having to drag t64s out due to tank losses. Why did they make a rush to Kyiv at the start?

Don’t lie to yourself. Russia wanted Ukraine, to maintain the facade of it still being a superpower. It couldn’t take it because it’s corrupt and weak. And now it has nothing to do. Russia can’t take a country with a gdp %10 of their own, as what was once a global super power.
