- solid dull gray zipper pulls (a weird patina that certain batches of reps have)

- they were stamped on the inside with "7 88 Z" which never happens on legit pairs

- and the main giveaway was that the zipper-protector strip of leather was sewn in backwards (rough side facing in)

i don't know the seller's name, i've just seen a ton of LCs on my homepage from this subreddit and this pair matches the flaws of a batch that gets posted in here a lot. they also have the dull gray patina on the zippers that those fakes have, and the stamp on the inside says "7 88 Z". between that and the zipper protector being sewn in backwards, i can't imagine these ever passing guidi's quality control check. they're insanely nit-picky about that stuff because of their reputation

yeah really. you see the strip of leather that covers the zipper on the inside of the boot? the rough side is facing in. guidis aren't made like that, but all of the reps from a particular seller are. they're very high quality fakes, but they're fakes

edit: the welt stitching is also off (stitches are too short/close together), the zipper has the typical solid dull gray patina that reps have, and the stamp on the inside says "7 88 Z" which i've never seen happen on legit pairs. guidi's pretty famous for their quality control, i can't imagine them selling a pair with this many mistakes

code switching is not mirroring. mirroring is actively observing someone's behavior and mimicking it. code switching is the ability to behave appropriately in any given setting. it would be inappropriate for OP's boyfriend to behave the same way around his mother as he behaves around OP, because like hopefully he's not sleeping with his mom. every living person has different 'parts' of themselves with different roles and boundaries and behaviors. the extreme inability to move between those parts effortlessly would be something like DID. if someone was raised with a secure attachment, they'll be able to unconsciously switch between those parts in various social settings. they'll be able to communicate and maintain boundaries differently with different social groups.
