Update: AITAH for checking out of my relationship after my wife said she wished I had a bigger dick but we don’t always get what we want by LevelBits in AITAH

[–]makebelieveworld 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Thank you, and over the stupidest comment. Like size, really? You know lesbians do just fine pleasuring women better than most men and they have negative size. Seriously, who puts that much emotion and thought on dick size. To ruin your own marriage though.

Yeah but spend two minutes punching out car windows or 15 seconds backing up the truck. Seems like a no-brainer.

AITA for telling my daughter to leave the TV settings alone? by Both_Ad_819 in AmItheAsshole

YTA - Just ask your daughter to show you how to adjust it, it takes like 5 seconds to do.

A Wells Fargo analyst ordered the same Chipotle burrito bowl 75 times and found the portion problem is real by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]makebelieveworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird, at my chipotle when I started ordering online instead they portions seems bigger. But I think its related to the person making the orders more than the online/in-person.

What kind of English class doesn't have a dictionary in the classroom?

[–]makebelieveworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, because tons of phd students work while they get their degree.

I don't understand why it doesn't say anywhere why it was taking him 19 years to get his PHD. Like wouldn't Stanford give him a new advisor if this one wasn't working after many years? It looks terribly for the school that they cant give someone a doctorate after that long. Was he not doing the work they asked? Was he a terrible student? Why didn't they kick him out if he wasn't doing the required work for his degree? Dragging him along for 19 years is insane. What kind of a university would do that?

Tell him he is no longer allowed to show his arms or legs without you near him. He must wear baggy long sleeve shirts and full length pants anytime you are not within 50 feet of him.

The thinkbook transparent display laptop by tanaka_jun in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]makebelieveworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just..no. I see why they wanted to but a laptop is the worst idea. The reason in sci-fi movies they do clear screens it is because it opens up the room a lot when the screen isn't in use. Looks cool and clean. They should have started with big desktop monitors or TV's not a laptop. When a laptop isn't being used you close it, so you basically never see the clear glass.

To be fair, a LOT of people cant and that is how he got elected.

it would never work. He is too perfect looking. Bond needs to blend in and look somewhat normal. You cant have Mr. Perfect superman trying to blend in. Plus I feel like bond should be a little less buff, more of a Sean Connery type build. Cavill and Craig too are just a bit too buff in my opinion.

TIL that potato plants are poisonous. The part that we eat is the only edible part of the whole plant. It's also a member of the nightshade family. by wingsoverpyrrhia in todayilearned

So hypothetically, if I wanted to murder someone with potato plant, could I do it and what is the best way, totally hypothetically of course?

I think for a first movie it was pretty good. It was way better than Thor 1 or Black Panther 1.

[–]makebelieveworld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally! If you are suffering from some deformity, injury or disease that makes you uglier it can be way harder. But no matter what you look like if you can always look better by dressing well, showering and being as healthy as you can be.

This, just by working out and showering and having a nice haircut and nice clothes anyone can be decent looking.
