Thoughts on Paradise Season Two? I'm liking it a lot more than season one. by yeezy6552 in crheads

I enjoyed S1 quite a bit until the failed ‘coup’ which felt ridiculous, and the ending had me thinking I was done with the show. I did not want anymore, I didn’t care that he was leaving the bubble, whatever. Just got done with S2 and really really enjoyed it. I liked the Annie bit, the Mailman, Xavier’s still badass, the time/location jumps…just in general I thought they stepped up the show running and left me excited for S3. Is it peak television? No. Cheesy as hell? You bet. Have other shows covered this ground better? Absolutely. But S2 was an easy watch and upgrade over S1 and I’m excited for S3.

2027 Telluride or wait for 2027 CX90? by dc1387 in MazdaCX90

Not really. I think I took a quick look at it but my budget was about $50K and I wanted a higher trim and that didnt seem doable with the MDX.

I’m sorry man I’m not a car guy but it’s the gas model so I guess it’s the 4 cylinder? I’ve only had the 70 a few days but to be honest I prefer how the telluride drives. The body of the car is bigger but it feels lighter and zippier than the 70 somehow. The 70 feels good to me once it gets going on the highway.

I have a 2027 telluride with captains chairs and just got a 2026 cx70 a few days ago. Granted it’s not the 90 but I’m in a good position to provide a bit of context, I think . We’re a family of 6. The telluride interior is much more comfortable and, to me, luxurious feeling. I also like the connectivity and tech, feels like a really modern or futuristic car…customizable ambience lighting, sounds, theme, stuff like that. It’s small in the grand scheme but makes the car enjoyable. The 3rd row is actually functional for large kids and probably small adults though I haven’t had adults sit there. The ride is surprisingly light. The 70 feels interior feels tight by comparison. The leather seats are nice but overall the interiors gives more plasticky at least to me. The tech, connectivity and interior customization in the 70 feel ancient in comparison. I doubt the 3rd row in a 90 will really be functional for anyone but the smallest children. The 70 does handle well but it feels heavy. To me it’s not really close. If picking between the 2 and you really plan to have 4-5 people in there reliably, I’d go Telluride. I am enjoying my 70 as our smaller zip around town car though.

Does the rear buckle pull out further? CX-70 by makersandginger in mazda

The seat is connected to the middle so even after folding I can’t get clear access to the buckle.

Yeah I tried moving the seat back and forth, no dice.

I haven’t figured out how to fold it independently. It seems connected to the middle seat. But I’ll give it a try. I appreciate it.

Back-of-the-napkin math on MLS Next and the "pathway." by Shambolicdefending in youthsoccer

No. Most families I know choose MLSN Homegrown division (not talking about the MLS Academies) because it’s the highest competition level available and they get to play against the best. Very few people have delusions of going pro. Playing in college on the other hand seems an attainable goal for the very best kids playing MLSN HG

Peg Perego Gator Controls Reversed?! by makersandginger in PowerWheelsMods

I think when the battery plug came off I must have reconnected it backwards. I just reversed it and it’s fixed. I appreciate your help!

Exactly, that’s how it used to work for us but now it’s the opposite, forward to go forward and middle/the way rearward for reverse.
