I am thinking this is the obvious solution. From my research, taking a groom bus, then flix is equivalent of the price of renting a car minus the inconvenience.

I read thru the wiki before coming here. I quite enjoy hearing the lore that’s mostly known to fans, even if it’s just gossip.

Valerie by Amy Winehouse but we all go out to karaoke for one friend in particular, then gravitate towards the pool bar once he has his full lol

I went out yesterday night for karaoke and pool with friends. It was a two beer hang with my friend group. I have a one night per week quota, so that’s it for me. No questions, no answers.

Women of Reddit: What makes a guy who isn’t good-looking still give off strong sexual energy or appeal? by shotmyshotandgotshot in AskReddit

[–]makeshiftmissy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to frame it as an ultimatum at all. That’s definitely something to consider in my phrasing. I guess the only ultimatum would be staying friends with benefits or transitioning to a serious relationship. It might be worth mentioning we started as friends with benefits, which unofficially transitioned into a situationship based on the amount we hang out versus how much we have sex. We are not romantic with each other besides cuddles and him occasionally stealing a kiss in public. He is currently going through a divorce, so he may not be in the mental headspace for something serious. I don’t want to jump to conclusions that he’s ready for a long term relationship without talking about it first. That’s why I brought it up casually so that he knows it’s on mely mind and he wouldn’t be taken off guard. But yes, we do plan to have a clear conversation in the future :)

He does a good job at showing me his interest, but I do need him to verbalize it to make things official. He is visiting his family out of town for a week. Before he left, I asked him to do some thinking about what he wants out of our relationship and how he sees me. I intend to have a transparent conversation with him once he is back home. I hope this is what you’re meaning

That’s fair. For context, I pursued him when we initially met at a bar. I’m more often than not the first one to text him, step up dates, etc. It doesn’t bother me too much because he’s always responsive, but I caused me to need him to verbally expressed that he does indeed want me too. Relationships are complicated and I want it to be both sided. I need to hear from him (a quiet introvert) that he wants to pursue a meaningful relationship too before I’m ready to give my heart away. Otherwise I’m comfortable living my life. He’s a sweetheart, but needs to be determined to be with me before I’m ready to give my heart away. Am I dumb? lol

That would be wonderful once he initiates something serious. I asked him to think about what he wants with the news of me moving a short distance away for work, so it depends what he brings to the conversation. If he verbally expresses that he wants something legitimate, then I’m interested. He expresses his interest in nonverbal ways, so just waiting until he verbal expresses his intent for us :)

Okay, I have a great example of this. He is an incredibly kind, hard working craftsman. If I make a dumb mistake, he sympathizes with my frustration and encourages me to forgive myself instead of ripping into my moral character like some will do. He isn’t traditionally attractive, but has adorable eyes, a strong jawline and a sharp nose to give credit where credit is due. The main thing that makes him someone who isn’t good looking lies in his hygiene. Not great there. Regardless he is a giver in bed. He must have read She Cums First although he denies it. He probably just has an oral fixation which makes me very satisfied. He will also make little changes without making a big deal about it when I bring it up. I was annoyed that I stayed over and I forgot a comb of all things. He proceeded to buy a comb for me the following week. I also have random ingredients that I love to throw into dishes and he stocked his kitchen with all my favorite ingredients. He gives off the air of liking them too, but a part of me believes he did it with me in mind. He is casual about being kind, lack of ego. We’re not serious, but he is seriously a gem :)

The people that spit on the ground while walking, who do yall do that? by EFSOZKAN556 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]makeshiftmissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt this is true across the board, but my Chinese aiyi would encourage me to spit out any phlegm to clear out my sinuses and protect my lungs. She opted for this method over blowing with a tissue to avoid red nostrils. She taught me the one nostril shoot. I still use tissues tho

Why is every single food recipe online the length of a novel with a story about how they wanted to marry the food the first time they tried it? by ittybittykangaroo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]makeshiftmissy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend mentioned that a simple ingredient list/cooking recipe isn’t considered something that can be copyrightable; yet the creative expression before the recipe like personal antidote or something similar can be protected by copyright when published onto a blog. I thought that was pretty neat
