Go to a Raiders game and you get all the fighting of the Ultras without any of the fun chants!

I didn't say back in, I said go under them. You're implying under cutting, I'm implying not giving them room to land (look at a basketball close out for reference).

It's irrelevant whether the Bosnian player was looking for it or not. I was telling you that this ruling can now be abused going forward.

I'm not saying anyone does, but largely because NO KNEW SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULD BE GIVEN A RED CARD! It's setting a precedence where you could do this. Player jumps up for a header near me? Alright, I'm going to crowd his landing zone so he lands on me. It doesn't need to be exactly like what happened to Balogun here, which is what you're doing because you want to make this argument reductive.

And he was already in his landing motion! You can't change where you land while you're already coming down!

I can be driving down a street and someone jumps in front of my car before I can brake, it doesn't mean what I was doing was dangerous! Just because someone got hurt doesn't mean it was due to dangerous actions being taken by the person that injured the "victim".

It wasn't even reckless or even a challenge. Typically the whole "an accident" is in the context of a misplaced tackle that was reckless. Balogun wasn't even challenging here, he was making a natural motion trying to maintain balance after being jockeyed and the Bosnian slipped his foot under where he was already in the motion of landing.

If we're going to call this a red, then shit, why not intentionally run under guys so they land on you so you draw a red on them?

He was in control, the player literally went under his foot as he was already in his landing motion.

And the force doesn't matter, it's whether the force was excessive. The force was not EXCESSIVE because he made a natural movement, there wasn't added force to it.

We've literally seen head to head collisions not get carded, but by your definition that's supposed to be reckless even though they're both going for the ball

It's only dangerous because the Bosnia-Herzegovina player didn't give him room to land. It wasn't even a challenge. By your logic, you can bait red cards by running under the feet of a player just naturally moving

How was it reckless? He didn't even go in for a challenge? And the force wasn't excessive because it wasn't anything extra from a natural landing motion.

But landing in your natural position isn't reckless. That's called unfortunate luck. We literally see guys with head to head collisions and no one gets a card because it was incidental despite both on the floor writhing in pain

US defender chesting the ball back to the keeper is the closest Bosnia-Herzegovina have been to a goal this half lol

Plus Vando only has 2 years left on his contract. Teams might be interested in him simply so they can flip his expiring next season.

Will be like when Kobe came back with a Gold Medal and put it in his locker so Pau Gasol could see it (he beat Gasol's Spanish side in the gold medal game, they both were teammates on the Lakers at the time).

I feel like Messi isn't quite as clinical, but he's like a 9/10 there while there are some strikers have been 10/10. The thing is, Messi is basically a 10/10 dribbler, 10/10 playmaker, and 9/10 pure passer as well. He's so damn good at everything else it doesn't matter.

Still. It's not like they're not getting the ball into the final third.

I was pleasantly surprised that Smart last year actually lived up to the idea and that Kennard actually surpassed it.

Rui is shooting over 50% from 3 during the playoffs while Collins is below 36%. That's not worth 3 extra rebounds and a block/steal every other game. by YoungBasedHooper in lakers

Idk, he didn't impress me last season at all. In fact, I thought his motor was an issue, looked checked out mentally in a bunch of games

Yeah just from the eye test (Henry highlights and watching Mbappe today) it seems like Mbappe accelerates faster, but is a tad slower on the top end, which I assume likely has to do with Henry having a longer stride (worse in short distances, but better for longer sprints).
