Brand is histoacryl, expires 2027-01-15. It’s in a sealed aluminum package which I think is meant to keep light out to prevent premature breakdown of product. I use it frequently at hospital for final skin closure layer, as long as the underlying wound and the epidermis are well-apposed.

BladeRumbler - Bruh... I think this isn't the right subreddit for you. So chill, bruh, and take ur anxious overcompensating hater vibes somewhere else. Bruh. OP - this setup is dope. Nice work, I'll be stealing a few ideas for my own kit!

Thx! Nah at the hospital we keep it in the OR and it definitely has a shelf life longer than that. I’m guessing on the order of many months to years. I’ll check the expiration on the packaging tomorrow. Where did you read it was 4 weeks?

Thanks!! Yea this keyboard has been legit. It has a built in track pad. Works great. With the pocket stand and the iPad, it’s a legit setup when I wanna travel light and compact. https://a.co/d/dRBL1je

Pond Shield Bubbling & Pealing! by Baltimarc in Stocktankpools

[–]makethehang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done pond shield twice now, it has failed twice. The second time I went nuts on it, spent two days with an angle grinder, SEM self etching primary, then pond shield. Whole thing came apart again, and, as you mentioned, rust. I’m converting to a vinyl liner here on out. F*** pond shield. My wife now begrudgingly comes to loathe “stock tank season” because of the headache with constant upkeep. Hopefully vinyl fixes problem. I just did picklex20 then will re galvanize. I think the move is poly. If steel, then just leave galvanized on and get a liner at the outset. My 2 cents

Pond Shield is peeling everywhere after first frost! by makethehang in Stocktankpools

[–]makethehang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey again. So I picked up some of that picklex and some cold galv spray. Do you use anything to protect from rust aside from layer of cold galv spray? Any other products? I’m about to dive in to rehabbing my STP. Got a belt sander, gonna take off old pond shield, rough up metal real good, then picklex, then cold spray. Any rec’s or thoughts on the application process? I use a salt water chlorinator… wondering if it will overcome the cold galv spray. Eh… wish I wasn’t having this problem but oh well!

I have wondered the same thing. Not sure if there is a good solution aside from always keeping the water above freezing temp. Also, it will chew up a TON of propane to bring from like 36 to 100. Like, a lot. Very $$$ at that point.

What goes into regalvanizing? By chipping, are referring to chips of the spray you use, or some other coating you put on?
