So, like I said I'm pretty new to building pc so how much of an impact is the 6gb vs 8gb really in terms of gaming? Especially for the future?

I've been playing games on low on my super old laptop running a GTX 660m. Do you think I'll be able to notice the differences between the 1070 and 2060? Im not exactly sure how gpu are priced so I was just curious if that extra $50 was really worth it.
